Professional Grade Formulas For Your Horse

Protect Your Horse Against Reoccurring Ulcers

Giving Nature Back to Your Horse

Whole Pastures can enhance your horse's diet with nutrients from a variety of plants that horses would naturally consume. Horses, like humans, are meant to have a diverse diet. Free range horses forage on grasses, leaves, twigs, bark, and flowers. However, not all horses have this opportunity.

When your pasture or hay only has a few species of plants, then Whole Pastures is your solution. Now you can provide an abundance of different green plants to support your horses health. Whole Pastures provides an abundance of whole plants with nutrients that aids in the support of your horses health, is 100% natural and non-GMO.

The whole food micro nutrients in Whole Pastures are as Mother Nature intended, and are easily assimilated and utilized.

Feed one scoop per day. Bag contains approximately thirty scoops.

IR Horse Formula

Insulin resistance is a condition in which your horse’s body does not respond to insulin as it should. The hormone insulin helps control the amount of sugar (glucose) in the blood and is required for the metabolism of foods into energy. When the body's cells don't respond normally to insulin, glucose can't enter the cells as easily, so the body has to produce more insulin in an effort to keep the glucose levels from rising in the blood. This can eventually lead to health issues, such as laminitis, but it doesn't have to. Exercise and a good diet can help your horse stay healthy.

Is Your Horse Insulin Resistant?

These signs should make you suspect an insulin resistant horse:

  • excessive weight gain or loss
  • fat pads on the body, on either side of the tail, and a cresty neck
  • horses that maintain or gain weight on little food (easy keepers)
  • laminitis
  • abdominal bloating

Your veterinarian can determine if your horse is IR by making a diagnosis utilizing blood tests. A horse with IR should generally be fed a low starch, low carbohydrate diet and have a consistent exercise program.

Whole Pastures IR Horse Formula helps support proper digestion and normalize metabolism.

It is easy to administer. Just mix ½ to one scoop of IR Horse Formula into dampened feed once per day.
